THE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL IS A REGULATORY BODY.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) is a statutory body whose mandate is derived from partIII of the health professions regulatory bodies Act 2013(Act 857).
Until the passage of this Act, the council operated under NRCD 117 OF 1972 AND THE l1683 respectively.
The council also has a mission to secure in the public interest the highest standard of training and practice of Nursing and Midwifery.
As a council, we propose durable and holistic solutions to better regulate the entire body of nursing and midwifery.
Subsequently, N&MC over the years have proved itself by stepping out our efforts to bring our bilateral relations with our clienteles to higher levels through dialogue and periodic visitation to our facilities nationwide.
N&MC closely ensures the availability of qualified nursing and midwifery professionals who would give competent, safe, prompt and efficient service for client delight.
